ATOL Renewals Statement
Details of travel companies renewing their licences published.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority confirms that of the 797 ATOLs that expired on 31 March 2019, 688 have been granted.
With 120 ATOL holders applying in the last week of March, we continue to encourage people to apply to renew their ATOL early, in order to make sure they have everything in place on-time.
Commenting, ATOL spokesperson Michael Budge, said: “The March 2019 renewal saw the final set of ATOL holders apply using the Civil Aviation Authority’s new ATOL Online system.
“We thank all those that have been involved in the renewal process and for the constructive feedback that has been provided.”
The Civil Aviation Authority will be issuing a survey to stakeholders in the next two weeks and would welcome additional feedback to consider any future enhancements.

The Civil Aviation Authority also announces that On the Beach Travel Limited has been granted Accredited Body status and a new ATOL. The new Accredited Body is the eighth agreed by the Air Travel Trust.
Members of Accredited Bodies can sell ATOL protected holidays without holding their own licence. Membership is subject to conditions of the Accredited Body.
