The following information is for ATOL protected bookings. You can tell if your booking is ATOL protected by the documents issued to you at the time you booked. ATOL holders are required to issue ATOL Certificates and ATOL confirmations (for package bookings).
Package booking flight arrangements for consumers currently travelling
If you are currently on an ATOL protected package and you hold a schedule flight e-ticket, the flight remains valid for the return journey. You are advised to check-in with the airline as per your existing flight ticket.
Accommodation and other tourist service arrangements for consumers currently on an ATOL protected package.
The CAA is speaking to the service providers to guarantee the services you booked. If you are made to pay again for the services that were part of your original trip, please ensure that you retain a clear receipt showing, the method of payment; as this is required for your claim. If you pay in cash, you must obtain a cash receipt as you cannot make a claim without this.

If your booking did not contain flights your booking is not ATOL protected, you may be financially protected under ABTA – The Travel Association. More information available at www.abta.com/superbreak
Consumers due to travel after 1 August 2019
Flight inclusive package bookings
If you have flight tickets the flight should be valid, you are advised to check with the airline, if the airline confirms you have a valid ticket for travel, you have two options.
Option 1. If you do not wish to use your flight you can make a claim for a refund for the amount you paid to Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd or their agent for your ATOL Protected package. Also applicable for passengers with non-valid flights.
Option 2. You can use your flight and if you are asked to pay again for the other elements included in your original package, claim for the cost of replacing these elements.
The other services may not have been paid to the local suppliers and you may be required to re-arrange and pay for these services again. To avoid any issues on arrival, you should confirm the cost of all the elements in advance of travel.

If your booking was made through a Travel Agent you may wish to contact them directly for assistance.
Travel agents information
If you are a Travel Agent of Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd and you are currently holding consumer payments which you have not yet paid to Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd, you are advised not to refund consumers with these funds until you have received instructions from the Air Travel Trust. Travel Agents will be individually contacted by the CAA with specific instructions for these bookings.
If you are a Travel Agent or an ATOL holder considering providing alternative holidays to consumers of Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd and wish consumers to assign their claim to you, in the first instance you should email [email protected] and we will issue you with instructions.
