Make a claim or get an update on your claim

Has your travel company closed down or ceased trading? To make an ATOL claim, you need to follow the instructions that relate to your specific travel company on our Company closures page.

There is no general ATOL claims phone number. Each claim is dealt with differently, depending on the companies involved.

You can contact ATOL on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter if you have questions about the claims process. This includes how to make a claim, what information you need and what has happened since you submitted your claim.

Change or update a claim

If you have already submitted a claim and something has changed, let us know by emailing [email protected].

Know your rights and how to make a complaint

If you were not satisfied with your package holiday and the company is in one of the following trade associations, you should contact them for advice on how to make a complaint:

If your travel company is not a member of these, please contact Citizens Advice (Telephone 0845 4040 506).

If you have general questions about travel rights, contact ATOL on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. We do not regulate the service standards of travel companies, so we can’t take any action against them. However, we are always happy to provide you with advice and guidance.
